PlantLegitOregon: invasive & noxious plant laws
Oregon Department of Agriculture's noxious weed quarantine (OAR 603-052-1200) covers every 'A' and 'B' designated weed plus the federal noxious weed list (except Japanese blood grass Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron' and water spinach). Covered plants, plant parts and seeds may not enter Oregon and may not be transported, bought, sold, offered for sale or propagated in the state. Collecting from already infested areas is allowed if the plants are not propagated or sold. ODA can issue permits for limited exceptions. Agricultural seed falls under the seed law instead.
