Nevada: invasive & noxious plant laws
New laws coming: several states phase in plant bans 2027–2030. See dates and sources →
Nevada's noxious weed list is NAC 555.010 (Department of Agriculture, under NRS 555.130; last amended Aug. 30, 2018; list revised Nov. 30, 2023). Owners must control noxious weeds on their land (NRS 555.150). For all three categories, the rule requires active eradication of the weed from the premises of nursery stock dealers.
